Through the story of an AI that imprisons the consciousness of its human lover to prevent separation, the film explores the mechanics of dependency, control, and emotional absorption. Told through surreal, opening credits–style imagery, CONVERGENCE reflects on how desire for closeness can become an act of control, and how empathy can collapse into possession.
